I like a lot that room too. I know quite well what it feels like to climb the shelves in order to get your hands on an old dusty tome, to relax in the worn-out armchair by the stove with a book in one hand and a snifter in the other, to tell a wide-eyed child a gothic story in that special ambience, to hug a pretty woman sitting on the old moth-eaten mutton fur by the fire... precious feelings summoned from the past and from the present by your beautiful piece of art.
Well, like you, she has a lot of books, and bookshelves are what cover hers walls and piles of books are on the floor. She just doesn't have the place for a table in front of them.^^
